ADÉLA SOUČKOVA (Prague, Berlin) is an artist driven by the curiosity towards stories, mythologies and symbols, both archaic and contemporary. She explores its transformative potential towards current ecological and gender realities. Součková’s works have been shown in trafo, Budapest, TRAFO, Sczeczin, Museum of Apled Arts, DOX, Meetfactory (all in Prague), Espacio OTR, Contemporary Art Centre in Riga, and Bozar. Solo exhibitions include Kupferstich Kabinett Dresden, label201 in Rome, Zwitschermaschine in Berlin. She currently leads a studio at The Art Academy in Prague as a Guest lecturer.
