CÉSAR VARGAS graduated in Theory and History of Art from the University of Chile. The main focus of his work points to the relationships between art, aesthetics and politics of independent artistic practices in Chile. He is the founder and curatorial co-director of the art space Sagrada Mercancia in Santiago de Chile, where he lives.
