FIONA ALISON DUNCAN is a Canadian-American writer and organizer. She is the founding host of Hard to Read, a literary social practice centered around live events. Pillow Talk is its spinoff. Duncan is the author of the novel Exquisite Mariposa (Soft Skull Press), winner of the 2020 Lambda Literary Award for Bisexual Fiction. Her nonfiction and fiction have been published in Spike Art Magazine, Affidavit, Canadian Art, Novembre, Texte zur Kunst, and New York Magazine. Duncan is currently working on her second novel and a screenplay adaptation of her first.
